(Mutually Assured Distraction: An Unconventional Warfare Podcast)

MAD

AS HELL?

We’re not gonna take it anymore. 🤭

what

For all you TL;DR fans, MAD Warfare is Mutually Assured Distraction, an unconventional warfare podcast that explores the weird, terrifying and sometimes hilarious ways war is fought today—and how we can all protect our minds before … we go too mad to find them.

  • Yep. Like using cat sounds as weapons. Or resurrecting your dead grandma in the form of AI which seems harmless enough until grandma shares a recipe for napalm and has you on a mission to “right the past.”

  • Yes but also weird and horrifying and sometimes hilarious. This is seriously the way war is being fought now. Oh, and if you think war doesn’t concern you …

  • If you go online, work in business, vote during elections or use a bank, YOU ARE ON THE BATTLEFIELD. You can’t escape! Hahahaha … ha … ha?

why

Because war isn’t just what happens on distant battlefields—it’s what happens in our heads. And while America can outspend and outgun anyone, we are falling behind in the cognitive domain faster than you can say “napalm in the morning.”

Tanks and bombs aren’t gonna save our brains, Charlie. So what do we do? Get CREATIVE. Maybe a little weird. And wild. And hilarious.

Which is why MAD Warfare is having conversations with the likes of professional wrestlers, chaos engineers, brain organoid experts and maybe even your mom if you play your cards right. Because the ones who really know how to mess with your mind are often hiding in plain sight.

Every episode reveals insights, analysis and tools to build your cognitive skills and resilience. So you can combat bad info and bad actors before they drive you … well, MAD.

MAD Warfare™ is a science-driven deep dive into the wild, weird, and sometimes wicked world of the “weaponization of everything.” But don’t worry—IT WILL BE FUN. Think of it as your covert ops manual for spotting how cyber hackers, rogue AI agents, and shady “bad actors” (who’d be terrible in a buddy comedy) are messing with our minds. Often in ways that evade detection… until it’s too late.

With expert interviews from unexpected places and plenty of offbeat insights, we reveal the hidden battleground of everyday life. Each episode is a call to action: for those in power to step up—and for the rest of us to gear up, because we might be all we’ve got. (Also, may feature puppets.)
